Mary Nell Richardson Graham, age 99, of Elizabethtown, entered Heaven’s gates on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Helmwood Medical Center in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Beginning her career teaching at a one-room school, she retired from Grayson County Schools after 37 years as a teacher in Alabama and at H.W. Wilkey Elementary School together. She worked in the ministry of her husband, Rev. Harold Graham, who served as pastor and evangelist for churches in Grayson, Breckinridge, Barren and Metcalf counties in Kentucky and Piedmont, Alabama. She was a long-standing member of Mt. Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was given the honor of Elder Emeritus. She was also a member of the Grayson County Teachers Association.
Mary Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her son, Gary; parents, Lannie & Vonnie Richardson; brother and sister-in-law, Murrel and Jackie Richardson; brother-in-law, Dr. Bill Horrell; daughter-in-law, Judy Graham; and grandsons, Philip Dalton, Eric Cravens, and William Graham (infant).
