An early-morning crash on the Western Kentucky Parkway Aug. 28 had traffic snarled for hours – and left an area firefighter dodging a bull.
According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 8:20 a.m. about six miles east of Caneyville.
Nathaniel R. Martin, 25, from Cottage Grove, Tenn., was eastbound, driving a tractor-trailer hauling cattle, when he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road’s east side. He struck a ditch, which caused the trailer to overturn.
