A plaque hung in my junior high school boys’ locker room which read, “It is better to be quiet and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.” This is a paraphrase of both Proverbs 13:16 & 17:28. There is a time to speak up and there are times when wisdom counsels us to keep our mouths shut.
It often is difficult to know which is the proper route to take. You must decide in each case what to do without blaming me for your decision.
