Send a letter to the editor

Letters to the editor may be submitted in handwritten, typed or e-mail form and should be limited to 300 words or less. They must contain the writer’s name, hometown and a phone number (for verification purposes only). Phone numbers will not be published. Letters with libelous content will not be published.

During the political season: to ensure that comments can be fairly refuted or explained by candidates and/or their supporters, no letters referring to candidates nor upcoming races will be published the final two weeks leading up to the vote. This moratorium shall not apply to letters from the candidate specifically responding to previously published letters.
