Representatives of the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board (KWIB) and Lincoln Trail Area Development District recently met with the Chamber Board about participation in the Certified Work Ready Communities Program. The program is a joint effort between KWIB and the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet. The KWIB board will certify counties as Work Ready or Work Ready in Progress based on the quality of their labor force and the community commitment to continuous improvement of the workforce.
