Master Conservationist Award goes to Fraim Family of Spring Lick

Jerry, Carolyn and their family farm in Spring Lick were named the 2011 Master Conservationist of Grayson County by the conservation district. The Fraim Farm is a 600-plus acre cattle farm with Brangus cattle, pasture and hay. Jerry and Robbie work wit hthe Extension Service and NRCS to establish mixed forage stands for grazing and haying and have worked with University of Kentucky specialists in establishing good herd health practices.
