Mary L. Pruitt, 79

Mary L. Pruitt, 79, of Elizabethtown died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1932. She was a daycare worker at Grace Heartland Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann Preston of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Jonathan Pruitt of Leitchfield and Bryan Saltsman of Leitchfield; five granddaughters, Amanda Tippins of New York, Lana Gordon and Dorinda Sutton of Georgia; Jacqueline Preston and Angela Preston of Illinois; a brother, Martin Drury of Louisville; three special friends, Robin Cook, Barbara Tilford and Geneva Pawley; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, P.W. “Doc” Pruitt; her parents, Leonard and MAble Beatty Drury; a sister, Deloris Burkhead; a neice, Diane Drury and a nephew, Michael Drury.

The funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Drury officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson, with a Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. and after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
