Linda Sue Boone, 63

Linda Sue Boone, 63, of Leitchfield died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born Sept. 1, 1948, in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Calvin H. and Grace Lile Cash. She was a retired clerk for Grayson County Health Department, where she served for nearly 25 years. She was a Kentucky Colonel, and enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, knitting, cooking, and gardening. She was also a member of Leitchfield Christian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Clay (Kim) Boone of Clarkson, and David (Robin) Boone of Nicholasville; and four grandchildren, Lance and Shea Boone and Ian and Samantha McCash.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin H. and Grace Lile Cash.

The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Lee Schroerlucke will officiate. Burial will be in Lyle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. Sunday until the service.
