Lady Cougars collect two wins in Lexington

Grayson County girls' basketball team is now 7-1 on the season after picking up two victories in the Republic Bank Classic in Lexington.

After a first-round 54-51 overtime loss to Perry County Central for its first defeat of the season, the team recorded wins over Butler and Owensboro Catholic.

On Sunday, GCHS defeated Butler 66-63 and pulled off another narrow victory Monday, topping Catholic by a score of 65-62.
