Hayes’ celebrates

D.L. and Ruth Hayes, Leitchfield, observed their 70th wedding anniversary  on Thursday, Dec. 29. Also celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary on the same day were son-in-law, William, and daughter, Brenda Guffey of Columbus, Ind.
D.L. and Ruth were married in Bowling Green in 1941 and William and Brenda married in Leitchfield in 1963. The Hayes’ great-granddaughter, Paige Axsom, North Vernon, Ind., celebrated her 19th birthday on the same day.
