Barbara Gibson of Clarkson is a member of the Sunshine Club of Grayson County Homemakers.
She has been a homemaker member for 30 years.
As a member of the homemakers, she has volunteered at the nursing home helping to organize seasonal parties and bingo, at the county fair and in 4-H.
For Gibson, being a homemaker means friendship and being involved. It gives her the chance to help others with the information she has and being with friends who are interested in the same things.
