After a brief absence, I opened my mailbox to find my Dec. 8 edition of The Record and was flabergasted to read teh headlines that the city council was going to tackle the issue of higher gasoline prices in our fair city. Where have they been all these years? As a retired truck driver, I’ve been asking this question for years that I’ve resides in the area only to have them fall on deaf ears.
