County-wide baseball program

A county-wide baseball program for Grayson County makes sense. It would be ensure all children across the county not only have something to do but also give the children the opportunity to meet people from other parts of the county.

A county-wide baseball program could be used as a feeder program for the high school baseball program. Children could focus on fundamentals in the county-wide program and hone their talents in the high school program. 

With Leitchfield, Caneyville and Clarkson apparently working together, local children also will see and learn the arts of compromising, sharing and team building from those they look up to in the community.

The prospect expects unselfish behavior from officials of all three cities in order to promote a better product for the children.

The first year will have positives and negatives and some things will need changing afterward but if the cities stick to the focus of serving the children and the sport, it could develop into a program worthy of pride from the entire community.
