County receives nearly $28K in grants for new park

Grayson County will receive nearly $28,000 in grant funding for improvements in and adjacent to Logsdon Valley Waterfall Park, the new county-created park at the foot of eastern Carroll Gibson Boulevard in Leitchfield.
Monday, the Kentucky Department for Local Government announced a $7,414 grant for building a picnic pavilion in the park, and a $20,000 Recreational Trails Program grants to help build four miles of the new Taylor Fork Trail.
The main trailhead is in the county park.
