The Cougars took a road trip to Morgantown on Friday, Jan. 7, to take on the Bears of Butler County. Grayson County came into the game with a 13-3 record on the season and improved that record by the end of the night with a 62-51 win.
The Cougars had a 14-point lead in the first quarter, which ended up being the largest lead of the half, 21-7. Although the Cougars struggled at the free-throw line, they were shooting from the court well enough to take a 32-19 lead into halftime.
