Cats get some needed attention

Grayson County Animal Shelter is hosting a cut-rate deal for cat spay/neuter services on Jan. 25. The shelter will send 15 male and 15 female cats to Louisville to be spayed or neutered through the Snip Clinic.

The cost is only $25 and includes the required rabies shot. Any Leitchfield resident that wants to take part must pre-pay by Jan. 18. Because space is limited, register and pay early to ensure your pet's spot.

The clinic is open to Leitchfield residents only and proof of residency must be provided.

The shelter offers low cost spay/neuter clinics the first Wednesday and third Thursday of each month for cats and dogs. For information call 230-8839.
