Betty J. Howard Wilson, 72

Betty J. Howard Wilson, 72, of Big Clifty died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born Dec. 31, 1939, in Grayson County, the daughter of Claud and Alene Birch Howard.

She is survived by three sons, Harley Wayne Wilson, Timothy (Linda) Wilson, both of Big Clifty and Jerry (Lisa) Wilson of Clarkson; a daughter, Diana (Danny) Smith of Big Clifty; six brothers, J.D. Howard of Indiana, Billy, Harry, Kenneth Howard all of Louisville, George Howard of Leitchfield and Roger Howard of Florence; two sisters, Joyce Albey of Leitchfield and Pat Cleveland of Cinicinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Alene Howard; her husband, Harley "Pete" Wilson; a daughter, Marla Wilson; a grandson, Johnathan Williams; and a brother, R.L. Howard.

The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Tony Redman officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Big Clifty.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
